GENERATIONS OF FAITH GROWS UP For the 2009-2010 school year, the Good Shepherd's Generations of Faith initiative will undergo a paradigm change. For the past two years we have been slowly incrementing the phase-in of the Generations of Faith program. At the same time we have been phasing out the traditional classroom sessions within the Christian Formation program. This year is the first year that our school curriculum will fully be presented within the Generations of Faith program. GOF programs will be held every month from September through March for the 2009-2010 year. Each month there will be four sessions from which to choose. Each family will attend one of the four sessions. Here are the program themes for each of the sessions. September - Creeds October - Communion of Saints and Life Everlasting November - God the Father and Creator December - Jesus Christ, Son of God January - Holy Spirit February - The Church March - Jesus Christ, Death and Resurrection May - Faith Festival get together at the end of the regular school year - just for fun The sessions will happen on consecutive weekends so that we can accommodate all of the members of Good Shepherd who wish to attend. The A session will will offer a supper meal and runs from 5:30 till 7:45 PM following the 4:30 mass on Saturday. Session B gathers for breakfast on Sunday morning, 8:30-10:45 AM. Session C gathers for breakfast on Sunday morning on the second week, 8:30-10:45 AM. Session D gathers for lunch on Sunday, the second week, following the 11:00 o'clock mass, 12:30-2:15 PM. You need only attend one of the sessions for each program. You may pick the session which best fits your schedule. Here are the programs and sessions. Cookout and picnic. You may already be signed up for a particular Generations of Faith session. We automatically reschedule you for the same session each successive program.
