The Easter Mysteries
Each table received bread and wine (in this case grape juice) to commemorate Jesus offering at the conclusion of the Last Supper on the Holy Thursday passover meal. Each person at the table was invited to break off a peace of bread and share with the others at the table their most important gift in life.

Good Shepherd parishioners hold up a cup of "wine" (grape juice) and pray.

We wash each others feet to show that we follow Jesus command to be servants to one another. His example of washing the feet of his disciples sets his teachings apart from any other person in history. It is the call for all of us to be servants to one another.
